Ken Page





Ken Page is a St. Louis native with a career spanning over 45 years. He is most widely known as the voice of “Oogie Boogie” in the Tim Burton/Disney film “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and has recreated his role in sold out concerts live to film at The Hollywood Bowl on four occasions as well as at NY/Brooklyn’s Barclay Center, Tokyo, Glasgow, London (with the London Philharmonic Orchestra) and Dublin in 2019. Broadway/UK credits: Guys & Dolls, Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Emmy winning NBC TV SPECIAL, Drama Desk Award-Best Actor, Grammy Award), Cats as Old Deuteronomy (OBC, London Video Cast, Grammy Award), The Wiz, Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues, Wizard of Oz – Cowardly Lion; Children of Eden (London West End Original Cast), My One and Only (London Palladium), Mr. Wonderful (Theatre Royal Drury Lane). The Little Mermaid (Hollywood Bowl). Ken has performed in 42 musicals with The Muny, St. Louis and has been ‘the voice of The Muny’ since 2015. Film: Dreamgirls, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Torch Song Trilogy. Ken has also made numerous television appearances. Ken directed the award-winning productions of The Fantasticks (L.A. Ovation Award Best Musical) and Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Best Director Ovation Award nominee). In St. Louis Ken has directed Carousel (Union Ave. Opera), Café Chanson, Sublime Initmacy, and Love Linda. In 2019 Ken performed in La Mirada in 2019, recreating his role of “Chuck” in the musical Grumpy Old Men. The St. Louis Arts and Education Council awarded Ken a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. Ken is a 2021 L.A. OVATION AWARD nominee for Best Featured Actor for his role of CHUCK in GRUMPY OLD MEN with McCoy Rigby at LaMirada Performing Arts Center California.
