John Contini, is proud to be an Equity/Sag/Aftra actor for over 40 years. He has performed in over 300 productions across the country including: St Louis REP, Black Rep, St. Louis Actors’ Studio, August Wilson Theatre, FOX in Atlanta, Bluff City Theatre, Maples Theatre, Starlight Theatre, The MUNY and has directed over 60. Acting credits: Inherit the Wind (Henry Drummond); Death of a Salesman(Willy Loman, Theatre Circle Award Best Actor);King Lear (King Lear, GO magazine award Best Actor); Barrymore (title role, Kevin Kline award Best Actor);Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye); Norman Thayer, On Golden Pond. Directing credits include: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Theatre Circle Award Best Director); American Buffalo, Gin Game, Time Stands Still, Tuesdays With Morrie, Molly Sweeney, Gertrude Stein and a Companion, I Do, I Do!, Black Comedy, Deathtrap. Most recent film appearance was in Four Color Eulogy which he also co-wrote and the soon to be filmed Retribution.
