Mike Isaacson





Mike Isaacson is in his seventh season as the Artistic Director and Executive Producer of The Muny, and he is the third person to hold this position in The Muny’s 101 -year history.  This season The Muny will debut a thrilling new stage, as it continues its exciting new plans for a second century.  For 20 years, Isaacson co-headed St. Louis’s own Fox Theatricals with Kristin Caskey, and they produced more than 21 Broadway musicals and plays, national tours, off-Broadway plays, and London productions.   Most recently, they received the Tony award for “Best Musical” for the ground-breaking Fun Home.  This season on Broadway they co-produced Burn This starring Adam Driver and Keri Russell.  For 14 years, Isaacson supervised the U.S. Bank Broadway Series, bringing more than 100 Broadway productions to St. Louis’s Fabulous Fox theatre.  He has served on the Board of Governors of The Broadway League as well as the Tony Administration committee. Mike has been honored for “Excellence in the Arts” by the Arts and Education Council of St Louis, and has received the Commercial Theatre Institute’s prestigious Robert Whitehead award in recognition of his producing career.
