FoxPACF Alumni Spotlight: Christina Jones

2017 SLTTC Winner continues to entertain

Christina Jones, a senior from O’Fallon Township High School in Illinois, won the 2017 St. Louis Teen Talent Competition First Place $8,000 College Scholarship, underwritten by Ameren Corporation Charitable Trust. Since that moment when she heard her name announced on stage at The Fabulous Fox Theatre, Christina has been on an exciting journey. She has continued to dazzle the crowds throughout the St. Louis region at community and corporate events, on television, and will also kick-off the holiday season as a featured performer at the Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights on November 18, 2018 in Kiener Plaza.

Christina has been a consistent participant in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition both her freshman and sophomore years before winning her junior year. Upon reflecting on her experience, Christina has this to say:

Going into this competition has really prepared me for what I have to work for and look forward to for college and any kind of show that I perform in for the future. It has certainly helped me make friends along the way and have experiences that you can’t find anywhere else. This competition has also helped me to make a name for myself and get myself out there like I have dreamed about ever since I was a child, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. I can’t wait to see what other doors this win is going to open for me!

We know that the future is bright for Christina as she continues to prepare for college, and we look forward to seeing her in many spotlights!
